With a tatoo that would just be black in. In other words can I put a black tatoo over my existing colorful one?

yes – a lot of people do that and it looks just like a black tattoo. what are you covering up.
Try brown it works for me dude
You could try having the tat shop cover ur current tat with a flesh tone or try the temporary ink
Yes! But remember Black is hard to cover up. So make sure this new tat is really what you want. I have seen people change their minds after it has been done. so make sure this is what you really want.
yh as long as the new tattoo is bigger than the colourful one..gd luck..xx
ye jst ask at ur tatoo place it wrkd 4 me big bro
why would you want to do that? as a former owner of a solid black tattoo i would advise against that. if you want a coverup- fine but get something good and worth having, not just a solid black tattoo which obviously won’t be very attractive.
while its possible, you are going to end up with some giant blotch. why don’t you pop your head into your neighboring shops, and start seeing different artists expertise in cover ups. some arts are so talented, that they might be able to work with something without just filling it all in black.
you’ll be surprised at just how talented some people are, and what they can and can’t do!
